Injection Molding

Injection molding has always been the core of Sterling’s business, and we strive to produce the best possible products at the lowest total cost. Molding processes are fully validated to be precise and capable, and all products are manufactured according to ISO 9001:2008 registered processes. Quality is integrated into every aspect of the company, and all procedures are developed according to the most rigorous and demanding industry standards.

Our customers face unique product demands and rely on us to deliver effective molding solutions. Sterling excels at processing challenging polymers including PEEK, PVC, and biocompatible materials, allowing customers a full range of material selection. Sterling provides progressive manufacturing solutions such as miniature part molding (micro-molding), multi-material and insert molding.

Value Added Operations

Few products are ready for shipment immediately after molding. Products often require additional processes to prepare them for market. For some, it is necessary to provide a more finished and aesthetically pleasing look. For others, secondary operations improve part functionality.

As a vertically integrated molder, Sterling possesses a wide array of finishing capabilities and excels at adding value through secondary operations. Sterling’s capabilities include sonic welding, silicone dipping, ultrasonic insertion, pad printing, hot stamping, custom labeling, bar coding, and fully automated assembly. Sterling is continually adding to its impressive list of secondary capabilities that allow its molded products to be successfully marketed.
